Updates to the 4-H Calendar – March 2023

There have been some updates to the tentative schedule. Please use the PDF file to update your clubs/families or direct them to the calendar on this blog.

Highlights:

The April 5th Cloverbud activity is now April 11 @ 5:00pm.
The county wide shooting events will be held at Campbell’s Sportsman’s Club in Howard.
Dog show schedule has been set. Looking to get updated paperwork out ASAP!
4-H Camp: Counselors will move June 5 and campers will move in June 6 around 9 am.

As always, this is a tentative schedule and is subject to change. We will do our best to update this as soon as we know to keep everyone on the same page. Please contact the extension office with questions!

2022 Knolmes Camp – June 6-9

We are so excited for Knolmes 4-H camp! This years theme will be Knolmes Circus Camp. We will be offering an overnight camp for Knox and Holmes County 4-H members. We will be having campers arrive to Camp Ohio same as last year on Monday, June 6th with set arrival time and campers will depart on Thursday, June 9th with a set pick up time. The drop off and pick up details will be explained more in upcoming info but plan on the same as last year.

If you plan to apply for an Early Bird Registration they are due by May 6th to the Knox County OSU Extension Office. If you plan to apply for a camp scholarship they are due with a $20 commitment fee May 6th to the Knox County OSU Extension Office. No camp registration will be accepted after May 19, 2022. No refunds will be given after May 19th, and partial refunds on a case by case basis will be evaluated prior to May 19th if needed.

This year after camp registration has been collected you will be sent VIA EMAIL your camp packets and link to pick the campers Pick and Choose sessions. Please watch your emails and let Janessa (hill.1357@osu.edu) know if you have any questions!

2021 Knolmes County 4-H Camp IS a Go!

We are so excited to announce that we WILL BE hosting residential 4-H camp at 4-H Camp Ohio June 5-9 for current 4-H members! Please be patient as we work through the details and be sure to watch for emails and communications early next week as we share more information and applications!

2021 Knolmes County Camp Counselor Applications Available

Knolmes camp counselor applications are now available. Please have youth interested complete the fillable form below. They should then print and submit to the OSU Extension Office by December 16, 2020. Members can also stop by the OSU Extension Office and pick up a hard copy to fill out.

Youth will also need to sign up for an interview at: https://signup.com/go/KHVdwUQ.

2019 Knolmes County Junior Camp Information

2019 Knolmes County Junior Camp information is now available. Camp will be June 5 – 9 at 4-H Camp Ohio in St. Louisville. If 4-H members are age 8 and in 3rd grade through age 14 as of January 1 they are eligible to attend camp. Please find the appropriate paperwork below.
