Ohio 4-H Capital Day is a one-day event for 4-H youth to discover the endless possibilities that come along with civic engagement, one of National 4-H’s four main program areas. Youth attendants will join discussions covering current issues youth face, learn about advocacy, gain an understanding of the legislative process, and have the opportunity to meet with individuals involved with State Government. Speakers will also be invited to share their experiences of working in numerous government sectors and non-profit organizations throughout the state and country. Additionally, 4-H youth will be able to discover career paths relating to advocacy and civil service, and explore college majors relating to their fields of interest.
