The 4-H Clover Bucket Challenge Splash Machine provided some much needed funds ($489.50) for the 4-H program during the 2017 Knox County Fair. Since the fair started with a tornado warning followed by a second day with three inches of rain, the money raised was lower than in previous years. Many thanks to the clubs who did sign up to staff the machine – Kokosing Valley Junior Anglers, Town and Country 4-H, Trellis 4-H, Clever Clovers, Masters 4-H, Gambier Gang, New Horizons, Llamas R Us, Kaylen Mann and Alison Amstutz, two members of the Howard Herd 4-H Club. For the 2018 4-H year, please discuss in your club how volunteer member and adults may volunteer during the Knox County Fair week (tentatively July 21-28) for the Splash Machine, Grange Coke Stand and Booth Patrol.
