Oral & Poster Presentation Guidelines

Oral presentation guidelines:

 

Oral presentations should be prepared by using power point.

A 20 minute time period is allocated for each presentation. Each oral presentation will be a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 17 minutes long. Presentations will be timed by session chairs and it will be interrupted if it is longer than 17 minutes.

There will be a 3 minutes Q&A after each presentation.

Please bring your presentation document on a USB drive with you. Presentations are to be uploaded to a provided computer 30 minutes prior to presentation time.

 

Poster presentation guidelines:

 

Poster size:

Poster stands and poster boards will be provided for your posters.

Poster boards have a dimension of 48” X 48” (122 cm x 122 cm).

All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board will be available at in the poster area.

The poster size and orientation are determined by the author. The poster can be in the “landscape” position (long dimension is horizontal) or can be in the “portrait” position (long dimension is vertical).

Display Time

The general display time is from 08:00 am–5:30 pm on the day your poster is assigned (Monday or Tuesday). Posters should be put up on the day where the specific poster session is scheduled between 08:00–09:00 am to enable the conference participants to view the posters at any time within the display day. Posters should be taken down after 5:30 pm.

Authors in Attendance Time

The Authors in Attendance Time is the time when the respective author(s) of a poster session must be present at their display for presentation. The Authors in Attendance Time will be from 1:00 to 2:10pm on Monday or Tuesday, the day your poster is assigned in the programme.
