Dear Attendees of CoFE 2016:
Presented below, for your consideration is the Draft Constitution and Rules for the new organization, which we are tentatively calling “Organization of Food Engineering”.
This is, of course a work in progress, and will require much input from you, the stakeholders in this effort. We anticipate that, among other things, a transition team will address this document and its exact wording.
One of the basic questions is what the name of the organization should be. We have simply included the term “Organization” as a placeholder, but other possibilities include “Institute”, “Society”, “Community” or “Association”.
