The Photo Partner Project was definitely a surprising experience. When we first got the assignment I was worried that it would be hard to find a partner but Breanne walked right up to me and asked to work together. She seemed very serious to me before the project and like a very sporty person, so I chose for that to be her main identifier. Because of this, I thought it might be difficult for us to get to know each other. So I typed up a little questionnaire and printed out 2 copies so we could ask each other the questions. I let myself worry further because she wasn’t a very “excited” texter like I am; always using exclamation points and smiley faces as if that will let the person on the other end know that I’m genuinely interested. We decided on a time and chose to sit out on South Oval for the “getting to know you” portion of the project. Once we got out there and started talking I was so relieved. She was so much more friendly and animated than I thought. She was very easy to talk to and we had a lot in common. Things went so smoothly and it was also good to finally go outside and sit on the oval when it was nice and cool outside. For whatever reason, we couldn’t take the pictures right after, but eventually, we scheduled a time to meet up again. Taking the pictures was simple and easy. I do feel like we could have done better, but it’s so hard to get someone’s entire personality into one single picture. At the end of it, it was a very enjoyable experience and I think I made a new friend!
