Reflection First Draft

Based on the “best jobs for you” quiz on payscale.com, there are two jobs that were found: Global Account Manager and Vice president of Consumer Service. I will briefly explain these two jobs and how it will be suitable for me or not.

The first one is the Global Account Manager, it is about manages relationships between company with the consumers and other businesses. Also in charge of making their company has right strategies to attract new clients and about negotiating and making sure the company is operate normally. And they also need to coordinating the clients and the employees to promote thecooperation. I think this is a very important position. I should have

strong organizational skills and communication skills, and require high educational positions and certain work experience and It is more like a bridge between the company and diplomacy. This job is a good choice for me, because I like communicating with people to solve problems, and also like managing people to achieve the goals I want. It has a great connection with the major I studied-sociology. Sociology includes the connection between individuals and groups, which is very helpful for handling interpersonal relationships and communication management. However, this job takes a long time to reach, requires a certain amount of work experience and strong academic ability, so that important positions can also be worthy of a generous salary. I also believe that this position can give people a great sense of satisfaction. When a cooperation is promoted or a customer’s needs are met, it can give me confidence and satisfaction. I believe that satisfaction and generous rewards in this position can be both achieved.

daily work is very cumbersome and complicated. They need to manage departments and employees, analyze data, solve customer problems, and even provide services to customers. This position requires very strong on-the-spot performance and management capabilities, as well as long-term work experience and a certain degree of education to achieve strong written and oral communication skills.I think this position is also a good choice for me, because it has a strong connection with the sociology I have studied too.  The two positions have one thing in common that they all require strong communication and management skills. And they all have a certain relationship with the economy, but the main thing is to manage the overall situation. The salary for this position is also quite generous, because it also occupies a very important position in the company.

The similarity between these two positions is that they can bring people a lot of satisfaction, and the work pressure is not very strong. However, the proportion of male surnames in this job is higher than that of females,I think it is because in some cases, men have better communication skills with others than women, and they have stronger ability to judge things. Reaching this position also requires long-term work experience in order to deal with many events in an orderly manner in the workplace. Of these two jobs that payscale gave to me, i think the vice president of consumer service will be more suitable for me. Because for the global account manager, there are large percentage of this position is male, it requires strong ability to control overall things, i don’t think i could handle it. Both of these positions are very difficult to obtain and be competent. I hope that I can make efforts to obtain corresponding gains in the future.
