Conclusion

In conclusion, it is possible to have a non-tan Tunis lamb. If we have a non-tan/ red Tunis, is it due to genetic drift? Maybe not, maybe. It is possible to have a lamb that is expressing any of the middle or even the recessive Agouti alleles if it is bred to another animal that also is not carrying a double dominate Awt.

Without serious research and genetic typing in the Tunis sheep it is unknown the reason Tunis are red, it is unknown how we get the shades of red, it is unknown what Tunis are at the second Agouti allele, the second spotting allele and what they are at the black / brown gene.
