I regularly supervise undergraduate students in my laboratory, who typically enroll in PSYCH4998 credit as part of the Psychology major.
CURRENT STUDENTS:
Leuviah Blakma is a 3rd year psychology student who also has an interest in fashion, social work, and statistics. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology. She hopes to eventually work in a hospital setting with children.
Ely Roa is 4th year student majoring in biology with a psychology minor. He will be attending medical school in the fall with plans to specialize in internal medicine and to practice community medicine after residency.

RECENT STUDENTS:
Lauren Chatman-Wrightgraduated from Ohio State University-Lima with degrees in both English and psychology in Autumn 2023. After graduation she hopes to attend graduate school to obtain a degree in Library Science.
Liz Imel graduated from Ohio State University-Lima with a B.A. in psychology in Autumn 2023. After graduation, they plan on attending grad school to pursue a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Sydnee Golden graduated from Ohio State University-Lima with a B.A. in psychology in Autumn 2023. She hopes to go to graduate school to obtain a degree in school psychology.
Josh Johnson graduated from Ohio State University-Lima with a B.A. in psychology in Spring 2023. His goals after graduating are to pursue a Master’s Degree in Military Intelligence and commission into the Army.
Felicia Hibbard graduated from Ohio State University-Lima with a B.A. in psychology in Spring 2023. After graduation, she plans on attending graduate school to pursue a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Lauren Grothaus is a junior at OSU-Lima majoring in Psychology. She graduated in Autumn 2022 and will begin graduate study in Fall 2023, working towards a master’s in School Psychology at Miami University.
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION:
If you need letters of recommendation for graduate school or employment, please complete the letter of recommendation request form AND the recommendation request waiver and give to Dr. Tompkins a minimum of two weeks prior to the first deadline. Be sure to include due dates and instructions for submission for each application.
