Congratulations to the 2022-2023 TIES Scholarship Incentive Awardees!
The TIES Academy invited CON faculty to submit a proposal to create a manuscript addressing innovative approaches to current issues in academic nursing education. Five proposals were selected for the Educational Innovation and Scholarship Incentive Program. Look for our next call for proposals in the fall of 2023!
- Kelly Sullivan and Kaitlyn Kolcun will work with Tara King on active engagement in undergraduate education to address the new changes to the NCLEX.
- Shannon Linder will work with Randee Masciola will construct a manuscript focused on motivational interviewing and women’s health.
- Amber Essman will work with Kate Gawlik to construct a review article on student wellness and mindfulness exercises that can be used prior to daily clinicals.
- Kristal Aoun and Courtney Shihabuddin will work with Mary Alice Momeyer on novel methods of debriefing following OSCEs in graduate nursing education.
- Stephanie Justice and mentor Mike Ackerman are writing a manuscript on using XR (a broader term as compared to VR) in undergraduate education.
