Semester in Review

As finals approach, my first semester as a freshmen at The Ohio State University comes to end. This semester was an experience that i will not be forgetting anytime soon. The transition from my small Christian high school to a large University was a challenge, but was the right decision.  I joined clubs like the pre-vet club and the animal behavioral and welfare club, which provided me opportunities to expand my animal knowledge while meeting like-minded people. Some of classes were harder than others, for example, my Chemistry 1210 class required more of my attention than my Calculus 1151 and Animal Science 2100 classes. Biological Science Scholars was a wonderful commitment and gave me the knowledge and opportunities I need to be successful. The semester was in no way a walk in the park, but I have become more independent and resourceful over the past months. I look forward to my next semester at The Ohio State University and to more than just survive life, but thrive and become the best me I can be.
