SHADOWING/BACKGROUND RESEARCH NOTES~
GALLERY ~ Hello there! Our group decided to do some first hand research to see the struggles associated with getting ready with one hand! All team members and their individual tasks are not fully documented in this gallery. However, by watching our above YouTube video, you can see all the action! We hope you enjoy!
TASK 1: Tying a Tie Tying a tie with one hand may seem impossible. Yet, somehow, our team members, Corey (left) and Tony (right), managed to figure it out. With the use of their mouths and other body parts, Corey and Tony completed the task. Not a very good looking tie though!
TASK 2: Tying a Shoe: Our team members, Ali (left), Tony (middle), and Hadiah (right) volunteered to show us all how to tie a shoe with one hand. But it definitely wasn't a walk in the park! Everyone was able to tie their shoes correctly besides Hadiah whom used a different technique to get the job done: tucking in the laces! This task was definitely one of the harder ones our team tackled.
TASK 3: Putting on a Watch This next task was the most difficult of all: putting on a watch. With only one hand, it is nearly impossible to put a watch on! It seemed silly to attempt this task without the help of a friend or family member. However, or team members, Chris (left) and Tony (right), tackled the task with their chins up. Eventually Chris was able to complete the task with his mouth.Tony on the other hand, was left in the dust; sad, alone, and watch-less
Miscellaneous Tasks: While shadowing, our team members participated in some tasks that were either way too easy to dive into further, or way too difficult to feasibly solve the problem. Easy tasks include: - Hadiah putting her scarf and glove on (top left/ top middle) - Ali braiding her hair and putting school supplies in her bag (top right/ bottom left) - Corey putting on his ring (bottom right) - Chris buttoning his shirt (bottom middle)
