*Shrinking Shoes* Not many differences between the two photos besides the size. The loose fitting shoe has two buttons: One to shrink the shoe to the user’s foot and another to enlarge it. No tying, zipping, or strapping required. Problem Statement: Emotional: Design a product that allows users to efficiently tie their shoes with one hand, reducing frustration for users and cutting the time it takes to tie their shoes.

-
*Nail Polish Brush Base* This nail polish brush is designed to absorb force and remain stable once it is compressed to a flat surface. This allows the users to move their fingers and nails against the brush rather moving the brush itself. Problem Statement: Efficiency: Design a product to paint your nails that doesn’t waste nail polish and strain your fingers

*Arm Attachment Stabilizer* I know it is difficult to tell but that is an arm with the hand opening a lid while additional equipment attached to the forearm keeps it study. Problem Statement: Stability: Design a product that creates stability for users that are attempting to open bottles, reducing frustration and potential dangers that occur in the bottle opening process.

The idea behind putting a magnet on the ends of the aglets would be to allow quick and easy lacing of the shoes. You would be able to use one hand to pull the laces tight up the top of the foot or to have it preset for one tightness. Then use the magnets to keep the tightness, by attaching the aglet ends to the sides of shoes. I believe this would provide a simplistic look and be easy to use.

The idea with having a gel to hold your jar would be that you can peel up the gel from your countertop and then use it with any size jar. This would would by allowing the twisting movement to start binding against the jar. Similar to twisting of a towel, it starts getting tighter and will only twist so far before gripping tightly.

With connecting a bulbous end to the top of the nail polish bottle you eliminate the smooth sided and difficult to hold top. This would allow the user to use their mouth, other hand, or even an elbow with much more ease. Secondly the product would have a suction cup base that you would sit the jar into firmly to allow it to be kept in place when you dip in the brush.

This device is an electronic finger nail painting machine. The user selects their nail polish within the machine. They then insert one finger at a time into the machine, which will then scan your finger. Once the finger has been scanned, the machine will be able to detect where exactly the nail is and paint. This makes painting your nails with one hand very efficient.
This device is a vice-styled jar open for people with only one hand. The vice is extended off a pole that is adjustable to go up and down, in order for it to adjust to any size jar. Once the proper height is adjusted, the user will tighten the vice on the jar using the rating lever. After this the jar will be held firmly in place and the user can then grab and twist the jar away from the lid with their hand. This makes opening a jar one handed not only possible, but somewhat efficient.
This product is designed to help individuals who have difficulties with their hands trim their nails. The device is simply a mouthpiece attached to nail clippers. Users can insert the mouthpiece and operate the nail clippers by opening and closing their mouth. This will save the users teeth and nails from the damage that would be caused, if they were to bite their nails.
