Eric completed the Au.D. at the University of Utah before relocating his family to Ohio for the Ph.D. He has co-authored several papers with us involving our deep-learning algorithm, obtained OSU Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences Summer Fellowships, and has received accolades for his teaching of our undergraduate Hearing Science course. Most impressively, Eric received a competitive F32 fellowship from the NIH to support his dissertation research involving a deep learning algorithm to improve speech intelligibility in noise.
