The Speech Analysis Lab in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at The Ohio State University is located in 154 Hagerty Hall.
Members of the lab conduct research on the sound system of Spanish, Portuguese, Basque, and other related languages from a myriad of perspectives. Some of the topics they cover include phonological theory, sociophonetics, experimental phonetics, bilingualism, language contact, second language acquisition, and dialectology.
