The Ohio State University is excited to host the Leading from the Middle Summit at the Ohio Union on October 28th  and 29th, 2014.

The event is a partnership between the OSU Fisher College of Business and GE Capital National Middle Market Center. Ohio State was chosen again for the 4th year through a collaboration of efforts from several university staff members.

The event brings together more than 1000 CEOS, academics, policymakers and industry experts to discuss business opportunities, challenges and solutions in middle market companies.

In addition to the partnership with OSU Fisher College of Business, Leading from the Middle Summit gives Ohio State students the opportunity to have on site jobs during the Summit and the potential for student internships and jobs.

50 OSU student life employees and Fisher College of Business students are coordinating and working during this year’s Summit. This opportunity has given students internships and job offers in the past.

Leading from Middle Summit encompasses every aspect of the university from the Ohio Union, The Blackwell Inn to the Ohio Stadium and more. We are thrilled to have this great event hosted here at The Ohio State University and in the city of Columbus.

To give you an idea of what it takes to put on an event on this size, check out this time-lapse video of the 2012 Summit held in the Archie Griffin Grand ballroom.
