How To: Tailgate Responsibly at the Ohio Union

The holidays are often referred to as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” but if you ask most students at The Ohio State University they will tell you that title goes to football season. The Ohio Union and Office of Student Life offer multiple fun ways to spend your game day:

  1. Check out Sloopy’s Diner. Sloopy’s game days feature the five best words in the English language: All You Can Eat Buffet. The buffet runs from restaurant open until the start of the game.
  2. blog sloopy'sHead to Espress-OH for your sweet tooth cravings. Every game day our coffee shop will feature a gelato flavor themed after our opponents. For example, this Saturday you can stop by Espress-OH for pistachio/coconut flavored gelato representing Hawaii’s team colors
  3. Also, be sure to mark your calendars for the Scarlet Gray and Sober Tailgate hosted by Student Life’s Student Wellness Center. On September 26, before the Western Michigan game, there will be a substance free tailgate on the plaza outside the RPAC including food, cornhole and a photo booth!
