This photo captures the Sonic Broomers Broomball Team at OSU right before our most recent game. I had never heard of broomball before I came to Ohio State, but as soon as I got here I was encouraged by second years in the Mount Scholars group to join a team. This was only our second game, and I am loving it! Broomball is a combination of icehockey, soccer, and determination. Being a Sonic Broomer has allowed me to connect with the other players on my team, and it is also a fun way to stay active. This game teaches the importance of endurance and teamwork to accomplish a goal, and I cannot wait until our next game.
