Matt Smith – Trip to Florence, Italy

Matt Smith:

I attended St. Augustine High School in San Diego, California (Graduated 2015 with a GPA of 4.02).  My academic focus was science and philosophy.  I was on the golf team as a junior and senior.  I was co-founder and president of the Cinema Society.

I volunteered for 2 years at Sharp Hospital as a Messenger Aide, Pharmacy Aide. and Student Leadership.  During this period, I became interested in the medical field and more specifically, pharmacy.

I selected The Ohio State University and their Pharmacy Program due to its excellent reputation.  I am currently a freshman in the Pharmaceutical Sciences major and Health Science Scholars.  My goal is to continue my education and receive a PharmD.

My other interests include tennis, golf, swimming, and skiing.  I also spent 4 years training in Tae Kwon Do and attained a Black Belt.  I enjoy travelling internationally and have been to 15 different countries.
