I am a PhD candidate in The Department of Physics at The Ohio State University, advised by Chris Orban. My research focuses on computational High Energy Density Physics (HEDP), and the development and evaluation of new educational resources including virtual reality.

I utilize a variety of computational physics codes, algorithms, and high performance computing resources to model ultra-intense laser-matter interactions.  This research includes computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations with OpenFOAM to model the formation of liquid targets for high repetition-rate laser systems, hydrodynamic simulations in FLASH modeling the laser pre-pulse, and Particle-In-Cell (PIC) simulations in LSP modeling intense laser-plasma interactions.
