My biggest challenge when it comes to time management is simply trying to find time for whats needed to be done instaed of what I want to get done. Trying to find time to sleep, socailize and to simply relax is hard to do as a student athlete in college. Its hard trying to get everything done. I’ve learned you just have take care of business. I need to intergrate taking care of business into my life. Letting parties and other distractions go and simply taking care of what needs to be done. Taking care of business will help me out a lot better. In the next week I will do all my work before going out. I will turn my phone off when studying so there aren’t any distractions. Taking my study habbits more serious is going to be the results to my success. To all incoming students when trying to study, you need to first understand how you study and how you learn. If your a visual learner, make your notes big colerful and alive. Add detail to your notes to help you understand the content. If you are a hands on type of person you can use my favorite way of studying, note cards. You can do many thing with note cards. Make your study note cards into a game. I watched a video on many ways to use the note cards to your advantage when trying to study. If you take the time to add all the important information you need to learn on the back, you can easily study correctly. If you are a audio learner make sure to take notes in class but also read them aloud when you get back to your room. Watch videos pertaining the content you are studying for. When you are taking notes listen with a open mind. Jot down everything you think and your professor thinks is important so that you cant go wrong. I really believe everything I learned in this course has helped me tremendously now and will even better in the future. Google is the most crucial website when trying to get things done. Projects, presentation and so much more. Google gives you tuns of links to get the best of what your searching for. Google gives you an opportunity to succeed. If you cant find the answer best believe Google has it. Google helps you with other things other than just projects. It can help you with life decisions. I used Google on a project and it benefited me so well. Google images helped me get perfect images for what I needed. Its really the greatest website for students now days because when  your professor tell you to research something and your lost Google is always there. This course will be the best for incoming freshmen, it will help them succeed.

I personally chose this video because I like to use note cards when I study. I need new ideas on how to study using note cards. There are many ways of studying but note cards work best for me. I thought having the three facts question on the front of the card was a very smart idea because you can study and learn more then the one definition or fact. The main concept of this video is teaching you another way of using note cards to study.

This video helped me so much more on studying because using the same studying ideas can get boring. This video allows me to use diffrent ways to retain the work and enjoy myself doing it. If you dont enjoy doing something it makes it that much harder to do it. You must study and learn the material on your own if you want to be a succesful student. Having fun while you learn is the best way to learn.

Students its all about making goals and trying your very best to acheive those goals. First is your academics. For some academics come very easy, for others not so much. You have to know yourself, and how you operate to make the best decisions you can. Can you stay home and study when everyone else is going out? Things to think about. When you have discovered your strengths, work on ways to make them stronger. When you have discovered your weaknesses find a way to strengthen those. These are ways of simply becoming a better student. We all learn diffrently. Some may have diffrent learning stratigies. Never be afraid of asking questions and doing what it takes to succeed. If your a visual learner and need to see make sticky notes of your assignments to help organize your to do list. Make sure when your teacher says something important such as a due or test date write it down so it wont slip your mind. Things will slip your mind were human its possible. Going into college if your not familiar already make sure you get comfortable with checking your email because many proffesors and important people use this network to contact you with information.

Hello students Im Darius and getting school projects done these days are a little more difficult. If your working in a group how are you suppose to get it all done on time? I’ll tell you, there are many ways to answering this question. First get very familiar with your group members. You guys should meet up everyday to work on project. If someone can not make it, you can utalize Skype, Facetime, oovoo and other video chat networks. By doing this it keeps everyone connected to the project so no one feel left out. If you need to type papers and get your peers involved Google Doc is a great way of sharing your thought as well as your work. If you stay connected and do your job individually you will have no problem doing well on your project. Getting individual projects done may be very stressful when you have many assignmnts due on the same day. Stretch out your assignments, so that youll have more time to work on them. Microsoft word, Powerpoints and Excel can help you tremendously with getting everything done in a reasonable fasion. Great thing is if you need a guidline or rubric youhave the option of emailing your proffesor or messaging a classmate through, facebook, twitter and many other socail networks.
