Prabhjot Singh

Prabhjot (Prabu) is a second year masters student in the Environmental Science Graduate Program at The Ohio State University. Prior to working towards her masters, Prabu received her a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and studio art at Gustavus Adolphus College. A large portion of her work is concept driven, so she is influenced greatly by thoughts derived from her education, conversations, and experiences. Her background in biology and environmental science has guided her work in the field of art and has inspired her to create pieces with elements of the natural world. Prabu’s previous artwork was focused on the concept of fragmentation of land, body, and mind. She is continually interested in understanding how we as humans interact with our habitat and how art can influence our perception and behavior towards the environment.
