I am a professor of Psychology and a faculty affiliate of the Institute for Population Research. I am also a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the National Council on Family Relations. I serve as the President of the board of the Council on Contemporary Families.

I direct the Children and Parents Lab at Ohio State.
