The American Association of Applied Linguistics (AAAL) 2024 conference was held in Houston, Texas March 16-19, 2024. I presented recent paper on the translanguaging corriente with co-author Dr. Melissa Adams-Corral (UT-RGV) and another presentation with my doctoral student Onur Özkaynak on language ideologies and Global Englishes. Angel Lin and I were also the discussants on the panel “Borderlands Multilingualism as a Transformative Educational Space” organized by Jia Li and Peter De Costa.
