How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice. During my junior year of high school, I had the opportunity to travel to New York City with my band class. We were invited to play in Carnegie Hall as a part of the New York Wind Ensemble Festival. During this trip, we were able to watch The Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theatre. This ticket is a symbol of my first live Broadway show, a once in a lifetime experience of playing in Carnegie Hall, as well as all the time and practice it took to get there.
