  • Treat students for various medical concerns and routine medications.
  • Provide diabetes care to students while at school
  • Administer feedings and medications via g-tube 
  • Perform hearing and vision screening on students with special needs using SureSight and otoacoustic emission testing

Registered Nurse – Nationwide Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Ohio State University  (August 2005 – August 2019) 

Staff Nurse

  • Provided direct patient care to neonates from birth to discharge 
  • Participated in daily rounds with the interdisciplinary team to help develop the plan of care for patients
  • Communicated with parents or guardians via phone calls or at the bedside with updates regarding the plan of care
  • Provided families with the education they require to take their infant home from the hospital

  • Serve as a classroom volunteer at Alton Darby Elementary 
  • Attend school field trips as a parent volunteer

  • Volunteer in a leadership capacity for PTO sponsored events such as the flower sale fundraisers, Family Fun Day and Field Day 

Hilliard United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry Volunteer (2017-present)

  • Plan and lead a station for Vacation Bible School for one week each summer 
  • Pack bags of food as part of the Feeding Hilliard Student’s outreach mission
