Hello! My name is Laura Roeth and I am a registered nurse of nearly 15 years. I completed my BSN at The Ohio State University in 2005 and went on to pursue a career in NICU nursing. I worked in the NICU until August of 2019 as a staff nurse, while also holding several leadership roles in the unit and developing an Infant Loss Bereavement program. I have two daughters aged 6 and 9 who attend school in the Hilliard City School District. I have been volunteering with school aged children for the past four years in our local school and in our church. It was through this volunteer work that I realized my passion to work with children, and I chose to combine that with my nursing expertise to pursue a career in School Nursing. I am in my final semester of the School Nurse Licensure Program at The Ohio State University, and I am also a substitute School Nurse for the Hilliard City School District. I am looking forward to establishing employment as a School Nurse for the 2020-2021 school year.
