There are many components of your education here at Ohio State and it is mandatory that every student understand the requirements for graduation.
- Credit Hour Requirements
- Nursing core classes plans of study
- General Education courses
- Nursing elective
You can find your specific compliance status and curriculum plans on Beacon, the College of Nursing information portal for students.
Credit Hour Requirements
- You must have 120 total credit hours at the college-level (Up to 90 of these credits can be transferred from previous coursework at a regionally accredited institution)
- You must have 30 hours at Ohio State to graduate with a BSN from Ohio State. This is a state law. Previous Ohio State credit hours can count but only if they were not used towards a first degree.
