Our Mission

Our vision is to improve the mental and bodily health of cancer patients and survivors. To achieve this, our group uses integrative biology approaches to understand the biological mechanisms underlying behavioral side effects of cancer and cancer treatments. We primarily use rodent models of cancer but also conduct clinical research with cancer patients. We aim to leverage these insights to develop novel therapeutic approaches that alleviate these side effects, which negatively impact quality of life, treatment adherence, and increase mortality in the growing population of cancer survivors.
