Hails from Chicago. Training includes B.S. and M.S. in Biology (Reproductive Endocrinology) from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana under the mentorship of Dr. Janice Bahr. Ph.D. in Neuroscience (Behavioral) from the Ohio State University under the mentorship of Dr. Randy Nelson. Post-Doc in Biological Psychology at the University of Chicago under the mentorship of Dr. Brian Prendergast. Visiting Research Assistant Professorship in the Wound Healing Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the mentorship of Drs. Phillip Marucha, Christopher Engeland, and Luisa DiPietro.
