  • Agencies such as the Ohio Department of Transportation deliver the GDL program and the Ohio Police Department are responsible for enforcing the GDL rules.
  • Driving education and training could be offered by high schools as well as by private driving school companies.
  • Car companies could host the program with the ADAS system and market the car to parents with teenage drivers who are concerned about their safety on the road.
  • The intervention serves the communities needs by changing young drivers behavior and limiting them to safe driving practices and therefore mimicking the effect of driving with an adult passenger or parent, which has been shown to positively impact driving (Williams, 2003).
