Hello, my name is Matt Popovich and I am going to be a freshman at Ohio State University starting in the fall. I am currently a business major, but I have not decided on a specific study of business. I would like to either minor in pre-law, or take pre-law classes in order to attend a top tier law school in the future. I joined the Dunn Sports and Wellness Scholars Program because of my love for sports and staying in shape. Throughout my life I have been involved in many different sports and I have always enjoyed trying new ones. During high school I played football, basketball, lacrosse, and baseball, but I am looking forward to competing in different intramural sports throughout my time at Ohio State.
In addition to sports, I love watching movies. Movies are great because they give me a chance to relax and kill time. Also, I like to explore and watch all types of films no matter what the genre or orgin might be. By watching a wide variety of movies I have been able to expand my horizons and learn about different cultures.

My hobbies include hanging out with my friends, playing with my dog, going to sporting events, playing xbox, reading, watching any Cleveland sports team, and chilling by the beach. I am from Rocky River, Ohio which is a suburb on the west side of Cleveland. Although this is my first time being in Columbus, I am excited to explore the city and experience everything Columbus has to offer! My mom is an accountant and graduated from Wittenberg, and my dad is a lawyer who graduated from Wittenberg as well. I have an older sister who currently attends Ohio Wesleyan University and plays basketball there, and a dog named Molly.

I am excited to start my journey at The Ohio State University and look forward to what my future has in store!
