About Me

My name is Kassidy Pastor and I am in currently in my first year at The Ohio State University. I am majoring in health science and I plan to move onto either graduate school or medical school after my four year undergraduate degree, as I want to work in the field of medicine as a healthcare provider. I also hope to minor in zoology, as I’ve always had an interest in animals. Throughout my lifetime, I’ve always had a passion for exercising and competing, and I have participated in a variety of sports in high school including: swimming competitively for 13 years, running cross country and running track. Due to my interest in athletics, as well as my desire to excel academically, I chose the Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars, as it would give me the opportunity to do both. I also wanted to join DSWS as it would surround me with peers that share similar interests, as well as a network of mentors to help me get where I want to go in my life.

Aside from athletics, I enjoy keeping myself busy with a variety of activities. In high school, I was president of student council and learned a vast amount about planning big events and working with diverse groups of people; these skills will better equip me for furthering my education at OSU.
I also love to travel and plan to go on multiple study abroad trips, as well as mission trips through clubs on campus.

In my free time, I enjoy watching and going to sporting events, attending concerts, adventuring in the outdoor, and hang with my friends, family, and pets. I live around 25 minutes away from campus in a city called Canal Winchester, Ohio, so, as expected, I have been a buckeye fan my entire life. My dad works for a law firm and graduated from Ohio State, while my mom works as a childcare provider. I also have two older sisters, Kori and Kasey, as well as a dog and four cats, that I love to spend time with!

I cannot wait to continue working towards my goals here at The Ohio State University and discover everything Columbus has to offer me.
