December 2017:
- TAP hosted three Columbus-area educators in partnership with GPD, teaching them the toy adaptation process and discussing integration into the K-12 environment.
- Autumn Open Labs were tremendously successful in adapting toys to be donated- thank you to all of our volunteers!
- TAP was hosted by Nationwide Children’s Hospital December 9th for the Toys for All Tots event, where Interns and volunteers were able to work directly with families from Ohio and out-of-state on adapting toys for their children. 26 families attended and 129 toys were donated!
November 2017:
- Columbus Toy Library: Ohio State University engineering students and Columbus high school student volunteers collaborated on toy adaptation at the Martin Luther King Jr. Branch on Monday, November 6th.
October 2017:
- AEP: Student volunteers, AEP employees, and one family successfully adapted 16 toys to be donated to the Nisonger Center on Friday, October 6th at a workshop hosted by TAP at the AEP Columbus headquarters.

June 2017:
- ASEE Workshop: Students, educators, families and engineers from all across the country gathered to understand TAP and experience adapting a toy for themselves on June 24th. A total of 60 volunteers participated in toy adaptation that day resulting in 40 adapted toys!

May 2017:

April 2017:
- Katelyn’s Krusade Workshop: Students attended this workshop held on April 22th. More information about Katelyn’s Kloset can be found here!
- Go Baby Go Car Workshop: 16 Volunteers and occupational therapists worked hand in hand to help adapt children’s electric cars. This event took place on April 8th and a total of 4 Lightning McQueens were adapted.
- All Scholars Workshop: 17 Volunteers in multi disciplinary Scholars programs came together on April 2nd to help create a difference by adapting a total of 14 toys.
- ESAC Workshop: 26 Volunteers and Engineering Faculty worked together using engineering to adapt toys! 14 toys were adapted on April 13th.
March 2017:
- Katelyn’s Krusade Workshop: Students attended this workshop held on March 25th. More information about Katelyn’s Kloset can be found here!
February 2017:
- Toy Repair Workshop: Students worked to repair toys that were not completely adapted. This took place on February 21st. There were 19 students in attendance and 40 toys that were repaired.
January 2017:
- AEP Workshop: Engineers from AEP learned about TAP and worked alongside students to adapt toys. There were a total of 31 volunteers and 16 toys adapted.
