Yue Ma was selected as a winner of the student paper competition from two sections of the American Statistical Association (ASA), and has accepted the Student Paper Award from the ASA Section on Bayesian Statistical Science (SBSS) for the manuscript Constrained Gaussian Random Fields with Continuous Linear Boundary Restrictions for Physics-informed Modeling of States.
Yue will present her research at a special session of the Joint Statistical Meeting in August 2026.
