Artifacts

My most memorable experience from my first semester was pledging Delta Sigma Pi. Through this experience I gained a group of new friends, an amazing professional network and a community of people who share the same interests and drive that I do. An artifact that represents this experience is my pledge pin. This pin represents my journey and accomplishment from pledging and later being initiated into the fraternity. It was given to me by Jimmy, my pledge education instructor and now good friend.

About Me

A little bit about me! My name is Lauren Nolf and I am a first year student directly admitted into the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. I am pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. I am also looking to obtain a minor in leadership. Outside of the classroom, I am actively involved in the community and consider myself a student leader at Ohio State. Since coming to campus in the fall, I have become involved in the Business Scholars Learning Community and with my professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, as Vice President of Fundraising within my pledge class and currently as a member of the recruitment committee. I have also learned about the passion that I hold for building relationships and raising awareness through joining the Wishmakers on Campus, Make-A-Wish Club at Ohio State. I was recently elected to the executive board as Director of Events where I will plan and organize fundraising and awareness events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation while overseeing two subcommittees. Lastly, I hold a job as a Human Resources Intern at the Office of Business and Finance here at OSU where I have learned great organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Outside of the classroom I enjoy learning new things about people and developing relationships, exploring the world around me, and giving back!
