Meet the Team: Burt

Hi, my name is Burt. I am a graduating senior majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Military History.  I am eager to contribute to the sustainability blog and to hear some ideas of what others think.  I have personally owned a consumer product company based around the premise of reusing what nature has so lovingly given us.  I am super excited to share some ideas and recipes with everyone that I have collected around the world and incorporate some efficient ideas on living.

Meet the Team: Elise

Hi, my name is Elise, and I am beyond excited to start work on the Reduce, Reuse, Recipe blog!  I am a first year here at Ohio State and I am majoring in Public Affairs with a Nonprofit Management Specialization.  I am so excited about this blog because I feel that keeping the world green is something many people are passionate about, while others know very little about.  I want to become educated on how to make our society and campus more environmentally friendly while also putting resources out there for others to do the same!

Meet the Team: Kari

Hello! My name is Kari Kueterman, and I am a community ambassador for Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services. I joined the health and safety campaign because I enjoy learning and promoting ways to protect ourselves and stay healthy! In my upcoming posts, you will learn about OCCSS and OSU safety resources, along with a few recipe ideas. I graduate this December with a B.S. in City and Regional Planning.

I am excited to be back this semester, continuing to make blog posts for Reduce Reuse Recipe! For new viewers of the blog, I am a 5th year majoring in Information Systems, and I will be graduating from OSU in December (!!!). Outside of OCCSS and school, I am also a 1st year member of TBDBITL, which has been a ton of fun so far this semester.

While the blog may look a little different than it did in the Spring, I’m still looking forward to providing the Ohio State Community with delicious recipes, sustainable tips, and, now, safe and healthy practices!

reduce, reuse, recipe

Hi everyone!

It’s the team at reduce, reuse, recipe. In order to keep you updated on the most critical information each semester, we will be adding a focus on health and safety to the blog. We will be posting informative posts on health every week on Mondays. Posts on safety, sustainability, and recipes will alternate weekly on Wednesdays. From updates on Ohio State University’s COVID-19 resources to safety off-campus, make sure to tune in every week while we work towards creating a safer and healthier sustainable community.

Will you join us?

Meet the Sustainability Campaign Team: Marisa

I’m Marisa Lally, the Program Manager for the Off-Campus Housing Excellence Program. I believe sustainable practices can lead to healthier and happier communities, which is why I’m so excited about offering fun and thoughtful recipes to the Ohio State community through reduce. reuse. recipe. Happy cooking!

Meet the Sustainability Campaign Team: Anna

Hi! I’m Anna (on the left in the picture) and I’m a second-year double-majoring in Environmental Policy & Decision Making and Psychology, with a minor in Animal Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I’ve always loved nature and the environment. Hiking and kayaking are two of my favorite things to do. I became an Environmental Policy & Decision Making major to learn more about sustainability and how to better the world around me.

My goal is that this blog will be a positive tool in your life! I’m certainly learning more and more every week and hopefully you are too.

Meet the Sustainability Campaign Team: Katie

I’m Katie, a 4th year majoring in Psychology with minors in Public Health and Health Communications. Once I moved off-campus my 3rd year of college, I became very interested in cooking for myself in a sustainable, nutritious, and inexpensive way. I think it’s a lot of fun to mix and match different seasonings, vegetables, grains, meats, cheeses, and other ingredients in a different way each time I cook. I think it can be a very creative and rewarding process. I’m excited to share any recipes that I come up with the food blog!
