The Master of Science in Nursing specialty track for Women’s Health prepares students for advanced practice nursing. M.S. in Nursing graduates are eligible to take a national certification exam through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) to become credentialed as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). WHNPs provide comprehensive healthcare to women throughout the life span, with an emphasis on reproductive-gynecologic and well-woman health and also male reproductive health.
