Ohio State University and the College of Nursing are committed to the health and wellness of its students, faculty and staff. Our vision is to be the healthiest university and community in the world, existing to optimize the highest levels of wellness for students, faculty and staff across the university and global community. A growing body of evidence indicates employees and students who have higher levels of wellness are more engaged, productive and satisfied. Ohio State recognizes nine dimensions of wellness, and uses the socio-ecological framework of health promotion, which focuses on wellness directed at the individual, social and family network, workplace culture and health promotion policies. We have developed a unique, comprehensive and integrated structure for wellness. Ohio State and the College of Nursing are national leaders in wellness.
