hello! My name is Tyrek Mitchell and I’m from a small town in Southeast Ohio named Byesville. I’m on the pre- Mechanical Engineering pathway, involved heavily with The Office of Diversity and Inclusion here at tOSU. My goals are to live life to the best of my ability, balancing academics and personal life. I am a Morrill Scholar and also Involved in the powerlifting club!

1. Honesty – I speak the truth and display it in my actions as well. I take responsibility for my actions and feelings.
2. Spirituality – I have high beliefs about a higher purpose. I am religious and my moral values are set in stone and I’m one with myself.
3. Gratitude – I am super grateful for every aspect of life. I take time to reflect on all the things I’m thankful for everything.
4. Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence – I take time to notice small details and see the beauty in most things. I enjoy being expressive in physical action and applying ideas.
5. Leadership – I have always loved leading groups, either by example or by direction. I have held multiple executive positions such as president of groups, football team captain, and the HS Student Section!
