About Me

Hello! My name is Taylor Miotke. I am from Aurora, OH which is a small town just outside of Cleveland, meaning that attending The Ohio State University has been a rather… large change. Those of us from “A-Town” like to refer to our home as a bubble where nothing ever goes wrong, but I could not be more excited engaging in this transition onto bigger and better things! Academically, I am ready to challenge myself like never before. Learning something new every day is not only a goal of mine, but a way of life. The possibilities that a good education can hand to someone are unimaginable; I know that attending OSU is going to lead me down a path where my interests can become my future and passion thanks to the wonders of a driven heart and mind, accompanied by help from those who want me to succeed. Currently, I am in the Exploration program with a focus on communications and management. I know that I want to find my footing before taking off in a sprint toward a career, so this program has been a crucial stepping point for me. Plus, the name of the program is too fitting; since my freshman year in high school when I set off to Spain with my Spanish class, I have been addicted to traveling and exploring the world around me, as well as the knowledge it has to hold. I am looking forward to the coming years, entering into it with a positive attitude and awaiting the unknown with excitement.
