Autumn 2025 MHI Orientation
Orientation for new MHI students for the Autumn 2025 class will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 9:30am EST to approximately 1:00pm EST. The event will be held online via Zoon. All students are expected to attend. So please mark your calendar. More details, including login links, for this event will be added as we get closer to the date. So be sure to check back later.
First Day of Classes
Ohio State will begin Autumn semester classes on August 20, 2024. Please review the university’s academic calendar for other autumn semester dates and important dates for registration and fees.

The Graduate School also offers a virtual orientation. Designed as a Carmen course, it has been developed to provide graduate students with an overview of the Graduate School, graduate education at the University, and the resources available to all graduate students. New graduate students will be contacted directly to inform them of the orientation and, due to its asynchronous nature, they are welcome to review it at their convenience.
