Welcome to The Ohio State University!

Hello!

Welcome to the Master in Healthcare Innovation Program at The Ohio State University.  You are about to embark on one of the most stimulating and impactful journeys of your professional career.  We are happy you chose to join us to improve the health and wellness of those we serve through innovation leadership.  Our ultimate goal is to provide you with real world skills to drive innovation forward in our healthcare system.  This could be in the clinical setting, business office, insurance industry, supply chain, consultation and a variety of other areas.  You are joined in your journey by colleagues with similar goals and ambitions from a variety of disciplines.  You all share many characteristics including risk taking, empathy, passion and drive.  You will be guided along the way by world class faculty who have all been there and done that.  The curriculum is state of the art with an emphasis on innovation, complexity theory, complex adaptive systems and design thinking.  As Director, I know you won’t be disappointed with your decision.  I am here for you, so if you ever need anything, do not hesitate to contact me.

Go BUCKEYES!

Next Steps

In order to be adequately prepared to begin the MHI program this spring, please review the information on the site thoroughly. The site is designed to provide you with important information you need to know as a new student in the College of Nursing.

Use this New Student Checklist to ensure you have completed the necessary requirements prior to the start of the program.

If you were admitted as a Graduate Intra-University Transfer, your acceptance will not be reflected on BuckeyeLink and you will be unable to register for classes or access Beacon until you have been reactivated by the Graduate School. This process can take up to four weeks from the acceptance deadline. If you still cannot enroll after that time, please reach out to your Graduate Program Manager.

If you have any questions about the information contained in this site, please email Douglas Hettich, the MHI Program Manager, at hettich.3@osu.edu for assistance.
