I am a Professor of Sociology and am core faculty in the Translational Data Analytics Institute. My research interests are in Social Networks, Group Processes, Computational Modeling, and Stratification. In particular, I study the emergence of social processes, such as cooperation, segregation, or stratification, in complex systems. I also develop methods, including in two recent book projects – Regression Inside Out and Applications of Regression for Limited Dependent Variables using R.
As of July 2019, I am co-Editor (along with Mike Vuolo) of Sociological Methodology.
