Get An Update on Stroke Prevention and Rehabilitation on Webcast. This webcast will discuss Stroke: Prevention and Rehabilitation. Thanks to Johann Jakob Wepfer and many other pioneers that came after him, our understanding of stroke have evolved tremendously. But knowing the pathology behind stroke is only part of the equation. We must also use that knowledge to help our patients recover from stroke and importantly, prevent strokes from happening in the first place. In the United States, someone has a stroke every 40 seconds and is the leading cause of long-term disability.
To guide us through the current data and practice, we’ve invited one of Ohio State University’s Cerebrovascular and Neurocritical Care experts. We’re pleased to introduce Assistant Professor of Neurology Dr. Matthew Gusler.
