OSU PhD Alumni Panel

Register now to attend the OSU Graduate Alumni Panel on Friday, December 12! We will have an Alumni Panel from 1-3pm in the Senate Chamber and a networking session from 3-5pm in Great Hall Meeting Room 3. Food and drinks will be provided at the networking session.

We have 4 panelists:

  • Mowei Li (PhD Molecular Genetics, 2024), Quality Control Scientist at Qiagen

Join us on Saturday, October 18th for a Fall-themed social at Lynd Farm! We’ll be painting pumpkins and doing a corn maze. Make sure to save your spot by signing up. The first 10 people to sign up using the sheet will have both activities paid for

We’ll also be joined by OSBP and Biophysics programs, following the timeline below:
2pm: pumpkin painting
[2:30pm: if you are reserved in the first 10 spots and do not show, your free tickets will go to someone else]
3pm: corn maze

Mollie Workman is the Career Technology Program Manager for the Office of Student Life Buckeye Careers. Mollie conducts trainings and outreach for Handshake and provides hands-on support on other Buckeye Careers initiatives, including The Ohio State University Fall Career and Internship Fair.

MCDB Food Drive

The MCDB GSO is hosting a food drive this holiday season in collaboration with the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. We have boxes set up for physical donations around OSU med campus (BRT lobby, DHLRI lobby, and Graves Hall lobby), as well asNationwide Children’s Hospital(RB1 front desk, RB3 by passenger elevators, RB4 front desk, and NEOB 3rd floor). If you cannot make it to a box but still want to help, they also have virtual donation options! For virtual donations you can go online and give directly to the food collective using this link: https://give.mofc.org/Default.aspx?tsid=25724.

Each dollar collected is worth $4.56 in groceries, and each box of food/items will be dropped off and donated directly to nearby Mid-Ohio food collective locations.
