The STEMcoding Project

Check out this awesome resource from the STEAM Factory called the STEMcoding project (u.osu.edu/stemcoding)! The project works to create science-focused coding activities that would not completely overwhelm a high school classroom. Currently there are over 15 different exercises that involve coding up interesting visualizations and interactive games for high school physics (think: asteroids and angry birds). There are good ideas to develop exercises for chemistry, biology and math contact us if interested.

Recently, we recorded some coding tutorial videos on “the physics of video games” and put together a submission to hourofcode.com. Here is the link: go.osu.edu/hourofcode
