About Me

The thing that I’m most passionate about in life is humanity – connecting with other people, learning their stories, and using that information to make an impact on the world around me. That’s why I’m a first year Marketing student, also choosing to enhance my specialization with minors in Economics, Professional Writing, and Philosophy. In the future, I visualize myself combining these disciplines to work professionally in a consulting, strategy, or branding position.

I’m hoping to put my passion to good use by continuously striving to better myself personally and professionally. I am heavily engaged in my community at Ohio State, and deeply committed to the people and teams I lead. Currently, I serve as a founding executive board member and Vice President of Marketing for West Mound Pen Pals, practice data visualization techniques as a Business Analyst for the Buckeye Undergraduate Consulting Club, develop my advertising skills as part of the Marketing Team for Fisher Ink, and engage with my peers as a Student Tour Guide and member of the Business Scholars program. I also work to integrate my passions outside of Ohio State and my connections within it, serving as a Campus Brand Representative for the New York Times and helping to champion their mission of keeping students well informed and participatory with the world around them.

Besides all that, I love to read, travel, watch stand-up comedy and attend concerts. “Many things will catch your eye, but pursue only those that capture the heart.” I’m energized and excited about the things I do, and am a firm believer that as long as you’re doing what you love, happiness is always within reach.

As an incurable caffeine-holic, I’m always eager to sit down and talk over a cup of coffee. The best way to reach me is through my email: mantena.1@osu.edu, or don’t hesitate to shoot me a LinkedIn message. Please feel free to contact me for networking, career opportunities, or if you’d like to chat about anything else!
