Shannon Maloney is a first-year student born and raised not only in Columbus, but as a buckeye. Her dream of attending Ohio State began this fall and she is majoring in engineering-undecided. She is excited to learn all about the various fields of engineering and to pick the one she is most passionate about. Shannon’s hard work and study skills that she learned in high school, which led her to be a valedictorian, will transfer with her to Ohio State. Outside the classroom she loves to cheer on the buckeyes to victory (in any sport), participate in outdoor activities herself, and also scrapbook all the memories she has made.
