Last term, when I need to find a scholar articles to support my statements, I find that using OSU Library to find scholar articles are the simplest way. Just typing in the key words and choosing the types of the resources, such as journals, articles, and images. Then you can find plenty of choices to make the articles you find more authority.

Secondary, I download the paper I read, and then use PDF reader to find the key words I want to. Reading the catalogue of the paper and articles will help me to find out the specific position. Sometimes, the title of very single paragraph can help me to understand the meaning of the article.

In addition, using unique and specific terms to search in order to reduce the number of pages returned. And there are some ways to narrow the search. Firstly, using the minus operator to narrow the research. For example, Use Caterpillar – Inc to exclude references to the company or Caterpillar – Inc –Cat to further refine the search.
